My first Workshop!

Anyone who has ever planned a workshop will tell you that it’s a big job. And planning a good one in 2 days? Well, that takes organisation, focus, and a lot of creativity with the team: collect content, organise presentation and give a reasonable feedback. Working in THINGS some times we have a pleasant surprise to make task well, fast and impressive =)

My aim was to show and explain to the startups in the Summer School ENDuRE the necessity of giving to their product a Personality.

That is different from well-known Identity. Personality is a bit Higher Level, that include Brand Image and Company culture, it contributes to the user experience and characterise emotional association by users. It refers to a set of human characteristics that help to stimulate and attract the target audience.

Trends are changing fast, but if a product has a Soul, a Personality – it will bring it brought through meaningful and strategic evolution.

Once product have a personality, it needs to be supported with a smart ecosystem, bring satisfaction to user, anticipating their behaviours. The strategy of effective product launch – will bring a huge support for the company.

At the second part of workshop I was talking about human-centric methodology based on Lean Experience design. How it is important to build multidisciplinary team, that will be able to approach Design thinking process, team will be a universal player for the company. They should be always aware, because often new technology, specially in IoT field, has to be implement to ecosystem very fast following trends and envisioning future user’s expectation.
My college Sagar Satam followed me with introduction of several service design tools in details.
After first and second part we had a hands on.. That was kind of nice to feel useful and be able to help and find arguments and answers.

Workshop was exiting.. but may be because of “my way” to pass through the important events – I was quite more exiting when we finished, when we have a free time in the city, before getting train back.. – I was happy, knowing, that I have to improve many thing, but I did something absolutely new, something, that I could hardly immagine one week before =)
